Don Q has been cementing his name in Hip-Hop with every single release, the man does not disappoint.
He was one of the names that was continually mentioned for not making the XXL lineup which usually consists of mostly hot garbage. Don Q is grateful in "Thank God" as he is appreciative of the good and the bad. Don raps about getting the bag and not looking back and promises made. He goes over a few artists who remained and were murdered vs the ones who left their city.
In this track, he's only spitting the real and the track is well-written. He expresses how he felt when his pops passed away. Don Q has proven himself to be one of the best rappers from New York, dead or alive. Nobody sounds like him and he's only getting started.
